Caliber is to us what we had been breeding for. He was my perfect akita and the love of my life. Caliber went in the ring at 6 months old and took a Best of Breed over specials and a Group 3 his first day out. What a way to start. He then went to his next show for a 4 point major out of the Bred-by class under breeder judge Dr. Sophia Kaluzniaki. His next weekend out would be back to back five point majors. Caliber didn't really like to show, so a specials career never pushed (also his mother doesn't like specialing). He was our house dog and puppy trainer. He went everywhere with me even to work. Never needing a leash and always a gentleman knowing no stranger he loved life and everything it has to offer. No word could ever express the love and devotion we had for each other. He is unreplaceable and not a day goes by I don't think of him. I'll be with you again my love I miss you so much.
